UGANDA – In the vibrant town of Namwendwa in the Kamuli District of Uganda located in East Africa, a beacon of hope and faith stands tall. Namwendwa Miracle Centre, birthed in 1990, is not just a place of worship but a pulsating center of transformation, driven by a compelling vision: conquering nations for Christ.

At the forefront of this life-changing ministry is a devoted evangelist, Evangelist Mwesigwa Daniel, whose tireless passion for spreading the Gospel has touched countless lives. His journey is marked by ceaseless travel across Uganda—and even beyond its borders into neighboring Tanzania and Kenya—spreading the message of Jesus Christ and igniting revival wherever they go. Wherever this evangelist steps, testimonies abound. Communities witness healing, restoration, and a profound deepening of faith as the Word and power of God transform lives.

Yet, alongside the miracles and breakthroughs, the journey is not without its challenges. Resource constraints—such as limited transportation and essential equipment—often threaten to slow down the work. But unwavering dedication pushes through every obstacle.

A hallmark of this dynamic ministry is the annual “Glory Night,” a visionary gathering launched in 2017. Inspired by a divine vision, Glory Night brings together youth and adults alike, setting hearts ablaze with passion for God and a commitment to develop character worthy of their calling.

“The LORD gave me a vision, this vision for the Glory Night, which is youth on fire with divine character. And it’s happening, together with our church. The LORD is raising the youth. He is raising people who are set on fire for God by shaping their character so they can be used by God,” Evangelist Mwesigwa shared.

Each edition, including the ninth in 2025, has seen a rising tide of young people empowered and equipped to spread the Gospel far and wide.
But the impact doesn’t stop there.

The innovative “Gospel Invasion of Schools” brings the hope and power of the Gospel to schools three times each academic year. The results are nothing short of remarkable: academic performance soars, discipline improves, and spiritual lives are renewed. Even schools once considered low-performing have doubled their achievement, a testimony to the transforming power of faith.

“The schools have really felt the impact. It’s rendered results even through the results they got from the national exams. They were really impacted by the Word of God and the power of God!” Evangelist Mwesigwa shared.

Evangelist Mwesigwa’s ultimate goal reaches far beyond numbers. His heart beats to see lives genuinely changed—not just coming to Jesus but growing in trust and discipleship, forsaking harmful traditions for the sustaining grace and guidance of Christ. His dream of a nation—and a world—is that people not only find faith, but rise to become ministers themselves, perpetuating hope, healing, and salvation to the ends of the earth.
