Prophet Gaetano Castellino, known to many as Prophet G, exemplifies the astounding reach of grace and the boundless capacity for redemption.

From Privilege to the Darkness

Prophet G’s story begins in Calabasas, California, a place of affluence, fame, and opportunity. Raised amidst privilege—the same community now known for celebrity residents—G’s upbringing was anything but ordinary. His father, a talented music producer, and a “made man” in the Sicilian Mafia, survived an attempt on his life, an incident that left an enduring mark on the family’s narrative. By blood, tradition, and early exposure, darkness and violence crept into G’s young life.

Despite this, Prophet G’s childhood was laced with moments of divine foreshadowing. The hospital he was born in, Cedars-Sinai Hospital, echoes with biblical significance, while the street names, like Mourning Dove Way, whispered prophetic hints of the journey to come. But as a boy, G simply saw these as mere details—never realizing the seeds already sown for his future calling.

Lost and Searching

Though brushed by religious tradition through Catholic roots, Prophet G knew little of authentic faith. He summarized his early approach to life in earnest: a relentless pursuit of worldly desires—money, power, success. By his own admission, he lived wickedly, eventually becoming entangled in organized crime. He was drawn into the Mafia at 18, became a made man at 21, and spent years locked in a lucrative, lawless lifestyle.

Yet, amid the external trappings of success, G was tormented by emptiness. He describes vividly the hollow ache that wealth, influence, and pleasure could not fill. The inheritance of generational curses and an upbringing marked by blood covenants haunted him. Violence and sin gave him fleeting satisfaction, but never peace.

The Pivotal Cry

Change came at the end of himself. In his early thirties, after years of internal battle, Prophet G reached a breaking point. Isolated and desperate, he cried out in the darkness: “If you are real, I need to know because I, I just can’t do this anymore.” It was in that moment of surrender, standing at life’s precipice, that Christ met him. The encounter was shattering, transformative. G recounts how an overwhelming love washed away the guilt and shame that had anchored him to his past.

From this point, his life was irrevocably changed. Where there was once violence and selfish ambition, there now emerged a spirit of servanthood and a desire to be a mouthpiece for the Lord. Prophet G stepped away from his criminal ties, enduring years of intense personal and spiritual transition, forsaking all he once held dear to walk a new, difficult, but rewarding path.

Redeemed for Purpose

Prophet G’s testimony is clear: redemption is possible for even the worst of sinners. With humility, he shares how talents once used for harm now serve a greater Kingdom purpose. Skills from the “old life”—boldness, leadership, business acumen, and creativity—God has redeemed, reshaping them for spiritual authority, teaching, and ministry.

Today, Prophet G is founder of True Witness Ministries, runs a successful faith-driven restaurant, Gaetano’s NY Kitchen Inc., hosts his “Capo for Christ” YouTube channel, and is instrumental in launching new ministry models embracing authentic community, accountability, and empowerment.

He is passionate about building not just a church, but a spiritual ecosystem—one where every gift is honored, every calling recognized, and where spiritual authority is rooted in daily surrender.

A Message for the Hopeless

Prophet G’s words ring with urgency and compassion. His life is proof that no darkness is too deep for divine light. No one, he insists, is too far gone for transformation. He encourages those still in the valley of despair:
