SION – Biography
Sion is a writer and creative builder whose work centers on restoring a Kingdom lens to everyday life. Through books, teaching, and creative projects, she explores leadership, character, stewardship, and culture — emphasizing fruit-of-the-Spirit leadership over religious titles and believing transformation begins with character long before platform.
More than twenty-five years ago, Sion encountered God in a way that began reshaping how she understood Scripture. What followed was not formal theological training, but a long season of refining — marked by obscurity, endurance, and personal testing. Over time, the message of the Kingdom preached by John the Baptist and Jesus before the cross began to unfold to her as the central thread of Scripture — a message of restoration, inheritance, and rightful dominion.
Much of her work begins with moments of sudden clarity, where patterns within Scripture come into focus as a unified whole. She then devotes careful study to testing and grounding those insights within the full counsel of Scripture, allowing understanding to mature through prayer, time, and lived experience.
Sion has developed a foundational thirteen-part video series exploring the Gospel of the Kingdom and how it differs from religion-centered interpretations. Her passion is to help believers rediscover the clarity of the message Jesus actually proclaimed and to live it out in everyday life. She is particularly passionate about equipping the next generation to understand and embody the Gospel of the Kingdom in practical ways — including through books and an original trading card game that reinforces Kingdom principles.
Originally from Canada and now living in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, Sion is a single mother of five and works part-time in customer service. She lives what she teaches — extending an open invitation for others to rediscover their inheritance and walk accordingly.
Sion’s Thoughts on Unity within the Kingdom
In discussions about unity, especially within faith communities, it is easy to assume that being united requires everyone to think exactly alike or follow the same doctrines. However, unity goes far deeper than simple agreement. Here is what Sion has to say about it.
“The only way unity is going to work is Spirit-led only. Everyone can have their own different thoughts. It’s not about everyone having the same thought, it’s about respecting each other and where they are at, because we’re all in different stages and phases.
It’s like, you could have applesauce. You can either be on the tree, you could be the flower part, you could be when you’re going into mush, you could be coming out tasty and sweet. We all are in growth, in change, and we don’t know exactly what God is developing and creating in each person, but we all have a place. We’re all key for each other. So, I don’t believe unity has to do with being on the same page with doctrine, being on the same page with how we’re going to run things, teach things, say things. It’s more about living in the Spirit. Having love for each other, living in joy, living in gratitude with God, in worship, in awe of Him. I believe that’s the unity God calls us to.”
-Sion
Indeed, unity comes in ways far beyond our comprehension. One thing is for sure, is that Jesus prayed for oneness among the people, just as He is One with the Father, according to John 17:21-23.
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent Me. And the glory which thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one: I in them, and thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved Me.”
Indeed, the unity that God desires is rooted love, not in identical beliefs or practices. Each person is valuable and “key” to the Kingdom community, contributing to the whole, as God perpetually shapes them.
