In the heart of California, a one-of-a-kind foster family agency is changing lives! Empowering parents. Guiding children. Building stability and connection through every act of love. As their Circle of Love reaches into more counties, their mission of compassion keeps growing stronger!

Rooted in Southern California, Circle of Love Foster Family Agency —co-founded by Honeybee and Corey Clark—has been a beacon of hope since 2020. Inspired by Honeybee’s personal experiences and lifelong passion for supporting foster children, the agency continues to touch hearts and transform lives through love, guidance, and care.

Circle of Love specializes in placing “medically fragile children”—that is, children with ongoing medical needs—into certified foster homes. These parents must complete specialized training and courses to prepare them for caring for these children before fostering or adoption. The organization also helps minority children and children in general who need stability and a consistent, loving environment.

Corey Clark, former American Idol contestant, singer-songwriter, performer, entertainer by trade, owner of CDC Music, and co-founder of Circle of Love Foster Family Agency, speaks about the necessity of consistency and positivity for children. These needs have been applied to the operations of the agency, impacting the lives of the children for the better.
“Children in general need that type of consistency, because they are going to be running our planet one day. The more positive influences they have, I believe is the more positive impact they can make on the world. So, it’s important to get these kids help. It’s a passion of Honeybee’s and mine to do so.”

Corey credits Honeybee as the visionary who started it all. According to Corey, Honeybee is a lovable person, loved by all, both young and old. It took drive and a dream to start this mission, a mission that was stirring in her heart.
“When I first met her in 2017, she was working at a foster agency already as a bookkeeper. She loved the children and used to invite me to events of theirs to help mentor some of the kids that would come through. She really fostered a very healthy environment for the kids and the parents.”

Due to her passion, she started her own agency and approached Corey Clark to come on board with her, because she was also his business manager. Corey agreed. Even though he was never a foster child, he had several foster friends as a child. This helped him to understand and identify with foster children.
“I believe and understand that children need consistency, guidance, leadership, mentorship…people that actually care about them,” Corey stated. “Obviously, I can’t personally open up my home to all the children that need help, but a better way to do so to get them the help, resources, and consistency they need in a loving environment, then to open up an agency that helps other parents or people that want to become parents to do so.”

Clark notes that Circle of Love is hands-on, with him, Honeybee, and available volunteers directly involved in supporting children and organizing community events. Their activities include resource allocation, support for foster parents, and providing additional programs like music, art, or sports classes for the kids.

“Being at Circle of Love, it is Honeybee, myself, different board members, and any volunteers we can get to help us with our mission. It is very hands on right now. I meet a lot of kids, I go to the events, I am taking photos, participating with them. “

The agency collaborates with other nonprofits and operates events across various Southern California counties. Their goal is to reach all counties, including Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange Counties.

“All of the Southern California major counties is where we are trying to make a positive impact and help as many children as we possibly can,” stated Corey. “Hopefully, it does grow into the vision that she [Honeybee] has.”

He counts it as an honor to serve the community and help the kids in any way possible.
“It’s my pleasure. I believe that we should all be doing something to make our kids better. Like they say, ‘It takes a village.’ I am a father of three kids, but you know, I feel like I’m a father figure to all these other kids, and Honeybee’s a mother figure today. It’s really hard for anybody to meet her and not gravitate towards her. The kids love her and their parents love her. They appreciate me…but they love her.”

The core mission is to build a strong, supportive community for foster children and families—especially those facing greater challenges due to medical, social, or racial factors—offering them consistency, guidance, and love.
Together, they continue to run forward with the mission with Circle of Love. They are blessed to see the community impact that has happened so far through their foster agency. They are currently fielding calls for anybody that is looking to foster or looking to place a child in foster care.
