KATY, TEXAS – A woman who was two bullets shy of becoming a victim of gun violence as a teenager was awakened by the power of God’s protective power. This epiphany moment propelled her into purpose as a prophet, intercessor, and entrepreneur, particularly in the healthcare marketplace. During her spiritual journey her grandmother became ill, which inspired her to learn the necessity of elderly care. Now she owns a health home care business for the elderly. She also has a special passion to uplift & intercede for young women due to her near-death experience as a young woman. She is interceding, training, networking, and teaching many in the marketplace…while boldly keeping God the center of it all!
Prophetess Keishia Fox, Co-Owner and Agency Director of Caring Senior Service of Katy, Texas, a non-medical homecare agency with a brand of “Great Care,” is changing the marketplace by spreading love and care among the elderly and among the youth in the Katy area. They help the senior and elderly population with activities and daily living needs with a Caring Senior Service mission to provide “compassionate, personalized care to seniors.”
“I hire caregivers that will go to the home and help those individuals to prevent them from going to the hospital to keep them healthy, happy, and safe at home,” shared Prophetess Keishia.
She started out as an agency director in Mississippi. She co-owns the Caring Senior Service of Katy franchise with Ken Anderson, who currently operates a Caring Senior Service location in Jackson, Mississippi.

In January 2025, they officially opened Caring Senior Service of Katy. They service Katy, Texas and the surrounding areas with her caregivers, who are doing a phenomenal job. Their healthcare service is providing both spiritual and practical care to seniors and their families.
A Grandmother Who Paved the Way
Prior to this, she always had a dream of becoming a homecare service owner. So, she pursued her education in healthcare which would become an integral part of her calling naturally and spiritually. She graduated in Detroit, Michigan from the University of Detroit Mercy, a private Catholic university, with a degree in Health Services Administration.
After graduation her grandmother’s health began to decline. Her grandmother suffered from diabetes and COPD. They needed more resources, so she moved to Hillsboro, Alabama to help care for her grandmother since social workers are only given a certain amount of time to care for their patients before they are discharged.

“My grandmother has been the matriarch of the family for everyone. She’s taken care of everyone before she passed. So, I took the time before I started working after college to spend that time with her, to help her with basic meal prep, light housekeeping, and just making sure that she had her medications. Those are the key components to what we do here at Caring Senior Service,” Prophetess Keishia shared.
This occurrence caused her to see the great need for ongoing compassionate healthcare among the elderly. Her first-hand experience with her grandmother’s need for healthcare assistance placed a fire within her to be an advocate for change within this field.
Her healthcare experience includes working as the Health Services Administrator & Executive Director for the North Alabama Sickle Cell Foundation from 2000-2005, where she helped raise sickle cell awareness within the North Alabama region.
June 19th of every year is World Sickle Cell Awareness Day, which was officially designated as the recognition date by the United Nations in 2008. This disease is affecting an estimation of 100,000 in the United States. According to reports, “Sickle cell disease occurs due to a genetic mutation that causes red blood cells to become sickle or crescent-shaped, making it difficult for them to flow smoothly through blood vessels.” It is further noted, this condition is common among “Africa, India, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and among people of African ancestry.”
From 2007-2008, she served as an Adult Development Trainer for the North Alabama Girl Scouts of America.
In 2011-2014, she worked as an executive account manager for Gentiva Hospice/Home Health Care Service.
Her grandmother’s ways of a queen on earth impacted Prophetess Keishia’s direction in life. She gives credit to her grandma for teaching her excellence through her words of wisdom.
“Her name was Queen Esther, so she definitely was a queen… and definitely a woman of God,” said Prophetess Keishia with a smile of remembrance. “So, I’m grateful that I had that time to spend with her. That inspired me, to help other seniors and their family members.”
The Process that Led Her to Ministry in the Church & Healthcare Marketplace
Prophetess Keishia was born in Huntsville, Alabama, and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. As a child, she was brought up in a Christian household. She would dream things before it happened and would talk to her mom about it. She didn’t quite understand some of her giftings. So, she avoided embracing her God-given call for a period of time.
“I ran from my calling. I didn’t understand anything about the prophetic and the dreams that I was experiencing,” said Prophetess Keishia.
Her mom taught her that education is power. So, she began to research about dreams in the bible and also in books related to dreams.
“Joseph was a dreamer, so I began to dive into Joseph’s story…” Prophetess Keishia stated.
A Depiction of Joseph and his brothers
The years rolled by and an unforgettable occurrence happened. As a tiny-framed teenager weighing about 125 lbs., she had a traumatic encounter that would cause her to know God was real and truly with her. She was hanging out with her friends, being a typical teenager, when a mass shooting took place.
One of the bullets almost hit her before entering the vehicle, but someone ended up taking that bullet to his leg. As she made it into the car, another one of the bullets violently busted through the back of the vehicle, piercing through the car, cracking the windshield.
“The bullet that was shot…could have shot me, of course, but it just missed my head, and it went straight through the back of the windshield,” said Prophetess Keishia as she demonstrating with her hands the direction of the bullet passing her by. “I knew then that God had a purpose over my life because I was shielded. Someone else took a bullet for me that survived, of course, but it was just the fact that God was protecting me and then that intensely.”
She knew that it was God that prevented these bullets from hitting her.
“For me being such a small structured young lady at the time, I don’t know if I would have survived,” she stated. “I knew I was being protected by angels because I have had so many friends that didn’t make it through the same type of incidents.”
This moment changed the trajectory of her spiritual walk catapulting her into a place of appreciation for life and an understanding that there was a greater purpose for her.
“It’s part of my testimony,” emphasized Prophetess Keishia. “I know that’s why God used me to work with young women first.”
As she grew, her understanding of her God-given giftings grew as well. She began to receive revelations through her dreams and through everyday experience, which drew her closer to her God-given call.
There were times when I would feel His Presence, and I would wake up in the middle of the night, and He would just download different revelations to me on what I need to do to pray for other individuals, stated Prophetess Keishia. “Whether that was for family members or just giving me direction on how I could utilize my gifts in prayer and mentoring to help others and build them.”
Throughout the years the Lord sent her mentors to help nourish and guide her along the right path. She prayed and asked the Lord if He would just keep her during the process, she would speak for Him and give her testimony.
“He has kept me over the years and everything just came together,” said Prophetess Keishia.
She received her calling as a minister and was ordained on July 15, 2004, by Elder Daniel J Richardson, pastor of Eagles’ Nest Ministries. She worked in ministry and served the community as a youth pastor. She would pour into the youth, alongside her then husband, for over seven years.
She was then drawn to prayer and intercession. This longing to know more, would cause her to visit a prayer conference in Miami, Florida with Dr. Cindy Trimm.
“I was so interested in intercession and prayer,” Prophetess Keishia stated. “I wanted to get into the presence of a body of believers that knew more about dreams and the prophetic.”
At that conference, she was connected to Apostle Margelee Hylton-Benjamin, Sr. Pastor of True Worshipers Global Worship Center, who began to teach and nurture her gifts. She mentored her on the prophetic, dreams, and worship. As time went by, Prophetess Keishia knew the Lord was taking her into a realm of the prophetic. On August 21, 2011, she was ordained by Apostle Margelee to become a prophet.

Launching Business & Ministry in the Marketplace
She believes God will use her testimony to encourage others to overcome obstacles and challenges in life no matter what age or season of life that they are in. Especially when it comes to finances and starting a business. God amazingly allowed her to launch a business at her age, and it is going strong. She wants others to know that it is never too late.
“At the age of 50 plus, I’m blessed to be here. God is really giving me a fresh start, giving me the finances, and everything.”
Prophetess Keishia Fox
The incident she faced as a teenager birthed a passion within her to help the young women that come across her path in the marketplace. This mostly consists of those at her company Caring Senior Service of Katy. The Lord uses her to passionately minister to them.
“Now when I hire the caregivers, a lot of them are young in their twenties, in need of more counseling or direction as far as professionalism, having a spirit of excellence, and educating them to have a more polished professional demeanor,” Prophetess Keishia explained. “So, God sends those individuals to me.”
The Lord has her speak to these caregivers after she receives His direction for each young lady. She will ask them if they know the Lord as their personal Savior. She asks if they are a part of a church and if they read their bible. She asks if they mind if she prays with them.
Prophetess Keishia holds strong to her faith and is unashamed to proclaim her belief in Jesus within the marketplace and holds strong to the scripture. This is made evident through her Caring Senior Service business card, which contains 2 Chronicles 7:14, and her business email signature which includes Isaiah 40:31.
Prophetess Keishia speaks of the Blessings & Challenges in the Marketplace
With all things, there can be presented challenges when it comes to ministry along with working. She shares finding a way to balance can be difficult spiritually, mentally, physically, and professionally.
“One of the biggest challenges is ministering in spaces where spiritual needs are often overlooked, like healthcare or elder care. Balancing compassion with truth can be difficult, and sometimes, operating in a prophetic office means delivering hard messages in love. There’s also the personal cost—spiritual warfare, fatigue, and seasons of feeling misunderstood or isolated.”
Positively, Prophetess Keishia shares how the Lord has provided a given solution to help overcome these challenges.
“The way I handle that is creating a routine and remaining consistent in a routine. The blessing of having a franchise is this has already been done. So, I have a big, huge network of other franchise owners that I network with who are believers as well and that just keeps me balanced.”
In addition to that, she stays connected with like-minded people who are believers, such as her church family, additional business owners, and more. She has witnessed a wide range of spiritual successes while being in the healthcare profession as a believer in Jesus, especially when it comes to the elderly.
“The victories come in transformed lives—when a senior who felt alone finds peace and joy again, or when someone receives a word from the Lord that breaks chains and shifts their entire walk. Seeing the power of God move in quiet, humble places—like a hospital room or a family in crisis—is always a reminder that no place is too small for His glory.”

She went on to speak about the outcome of helping the elderly, the heavenly profits that come from above.
“I can help the seniors out here…they are so vulnerable. I have felt so rewarded with helping those individuals. That’s when you know you are operating in your destiny and your calling and your passion, because it is like I have a refreshing just from helping other individuals.”

Creating a Legacy
Prophetess Keishia believes that her move to step out on faith to start a business will not only be beneficial for the present moment, but also for future generations.
“That’s the victorious part of it, leaving a legacy behind for my daughter and future generations as an entrepreneur,” Prophetess Keishia proudly stated. “I believe that God is really going to minister to future generations for me, stepping up and taking on this call to be a vessel for the Kingdom.”

Prophetess Keishia’s Thoughts on the USA’s Current Conditions
Prophetess Keishia shares her thoughts about the present conflicts within the United States and among the church.
“In our nation, the Body of believers is both resilient and under pressure. Spiritually, there is a deep hunger for truth and revival among many, especially the younger generation. Prayer movements are rising, and there’s a renewed emphasis on holiness, discipleship, and community. However, naturally, we face challenges such as cultural compromise, divisions within the Church, and limited resources in underserved areas. There is also increasing social and political pressure to conform to secular ideologies, which tests the boldness and unity of the Church.”
Prophetess Keishia Fox
She shares what she desires to see among the church within the USA, and her goals to help implement a change nationally & globally.
“Locally, it is to see the Church in our nation arise in unity and power, walking in prophetic clarity and cultural relevance without compromise. Globally, my heart is to strengthen the global Body of Christ through missions, teaching, and partnerships—serving as a voice of encouragement and equipping for the nations. I believe revival is not just for one place, but for the global harvest.”
