IRVING, TEXAS – A humble couple who took a leap of faith to start ministry twelve years ago on September 15th, celebrate their 12th church anniversary, which befittingly shares the beginning date of the National Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. God has used this couple as light torches and the solid glue within the Hispanic community. They are drawing the lost to Jesus Christ, building His Kingdom, preserving oneness, and upholding important cultural values as ordained by God. Many that search for a spiritual home, have found their place of abode in Jesus, under the caring wings and biblical teachings of the Olaldes, a power couple who value the importance of family.

Pastors Alex & Juanita Olalde, Founders and Senior Pastors of Comunidad Cristiana Un Nuevo Amanecer, located in Irving, Texas, are making their mark in the heavens and on earth through their faithful commitment of spreading the Gospel. The Olaldes are doing this with God’s love through embracing the lost and loving the souls into the Kingdom. They are encouraging the flock into purpose through teaching them the Word of God and how to reverence God through worship.

Before the birthing of Comunidad Cristiana Un Nuevo Amanecer, the Olaldes worked in ministry within their family’s church. Pastor Alex, a native of Mexico, originally served as the youth pastor. Pastor Juanita, Texas-born of Mexican heritage, was the Sunday school teacher. There came a point when they knew they had to do something more. It was time to leave their comfort zone and step out in faith by leaving the family ministry and step into new territory. It wasn’t so easy at first.

“In our culture, you don’t leave family…it was God behind it all,” shared Pastor Juanita.

Indeed, God had a bigger plan. It was not about leaving the family, but instead advancing family. Their cultural values of family would be what God would use to expand His spiritual family. He (meaning God) would do this by using the Olaldes to welcome the harvest of souls into His House, and His Kingdom who are lost and are in search of a loving spiritual home.

As they made that step, they were led by the Spirit of God to attend another ministry under the care of new pastors where they served in ministry for a certain period of time. These pastors were used by God to develop certain gifts within them, and later helped launch the Olaldes into ministry. By September 15, 2012, they overcame all setbacks and began the Kingdom work of God by starting Comunidad Cristiana Un Nuevo Amanecer. The ministry still stands strong today…and the family of God is expanding within their midst.

They see the power of God continuously being demonstrated among them. Many have found hope, love, purpose, and direction. To top that off, a great number of lives who became members, found a true family and God’s abundant love under their spiritual care.

“We are not a church per se,” Pastor Juanita Olalde shared. “We are a family.”

Pastors Alex and Juanita Olalde are faithful to the work of God, not looking for any earthly rewards. They are receiving the abundant blessings of God, by the fruit of souls being brought to Christ.

In addition to ministering at church, God has placed it on the heart of Pastor Alex, to minister through Facebook Live streams throughout the week. This allows audiences on social media to experience learning the Word, and receiving that Agape love. The members also join together for intercessory prayer on Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Anyone who wants to attend prayer are welcome.

On Sunday, Sept. 8th, they celebrated their 12th church anniversary early to incorporate their spiritual father, Pastor Miguel Sanzana, who was in town from Santiago, Chile.

Pastor Miguel Sanzana

It was a glorious experience that day during worship, as Pastor Miguel began passionately singing “Santo, Santo, Santo,” (Holy, Holy, Holy) with his hands lifted high in honor of the Lord. There was an overwhelming Presence of the Spirit of God within the sanctuary.

This amazing worship, set the tone, causing the saturation of the Spirit of God to be felt within the room. As the worship came to a close, Pastor Alex began to share a brief message in Spanish that would cause the congregation to search their hearts. As he did this, his wife, Pastor Juanita, began to translate it to English with a peaceful voice of love.

As this took place, the subtle tones of worship music continued to play, maintaining the sweet Presence of the King of Glory. Pastor Alex began to emphasize that the return of the Lord is soon to come. He then went on to say:

“He is bringing revival to His church. The Bible tells us that many are called…but few are chosen. Where are you going to be? Those that were just called or those that were chosen?” asks Pastor Alex.

After he shared this message, he began to honor his spiritual father, Pastor Miguel, and then welcomed him to the pulpit. As Pastor Miguel greeted the congregation, he encouraged everyone to greet one another so all felt welcomed. Then he brought a heart-moving message to the congregation about grace, salvation, and serving Christ. He also shared his testimony about the loss of his daughter and how to accept God’s timing. He expounded on John 1:17 and 2 Corinthians 1:12, which discussed grace.

Pastor Miguel concluded the message by lovingly speaking to the Olaldes, while Pastor Juanita continued to translate. He prophetically ministered to the family of God within the church. Pastors Alex and Juanita Olalde also joined him as he prayed for the members.

Tears were shed and hope was revived among the congregation and the ministerial team. The service ended with food from various countries and fellowship as a family.

It is clear why the Olaldes, are the way they are. Their spiritual father demonstrated that same love that is felt within the atmosphere of Comunidad Cristiana Un Nuevo Amanecer. They are selflessly sharing the love of Christ, not only through the teachings of His Word, but through showing the importance of family by the authentic love they extend to their church family.

To demonstrate the love, oneness, and family values within the ministry, take time to read a letter from one of the members:

“I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for my pastors and my church family at Comunidad Cristiana Un Nuevo Amanecer. As a woman, a mother, sister and now as Co-head of the women’s ministry, I have grown in ways I never imagined.

There were seasons when I felt the weight of being away from my family, praying that they would join me in walking with the Lord. Many of us have left loved ones behind, whether in different countries or cities, but within we’ve found love, support, and unity. The victories we share, the encouragement we give one another, the prayers that uplift us—it’s a true reflection of God’s embrace.

The Word of God is alive here, speaking to the very depths of my soul, fueling my faith and drawing me closer to my purpose. I can confidently say the Holy Spirit moves in this place. When I was at one of the most critical points in my life, God guided me here, and it truly feels like home. I know that His work is not only transforming me but is moving powerfully throughout our entire congregation.

I am so blessed to be on this journey with such a remarkable church family, and I look forward to all that God has in store for us. Amen.”

What’s the Spiritual Significance of 12?

Twelve is a very important number biblically which symbolizes, governmental authority, perfect government, it is God’s favorite number, His perfect number, completeness, divine order, divine nature of God, and establishment.

This 12th year of celebration is not by chance, it is ordained by the loving hands of God Almighty. Their church anniversary also happens to fall on the first day of National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed September 15 through October 15 each year, in celebration of the contributions, influence, and unique culture the Latino Community has added to the history of this nation. God wants to shine a light on this wonderful couple for the contributions, positive & Godly influence through the love of Christ, the God-ordained cultural values they have made within the Family of God for the Glory of His name.

This is the year that God is perfecting His Spiritual Governmental Authority through their ministry. It will be a time where many that have been trained and discipled under the care of Comunidad Cristiana Un Nuevo Amanecer will be commissioned and sent out as ambassadors of the authority that comes from Jesus Christ. We pray the Lord will continue to perfect His work within the life of the Olaldes and their ministry! We celebrate and honor this 12th year of service within the Kingdom of God and the expansion of His Kingdom.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!!!
