LAS COLINAS, TEXAS – An assembly of believers gather as one unit for a Friends of Zion Emergency Rally event at the Westin Irving Convention Center in Las Colinas in efforts to support Israel.

Saturday, May 11, at 6:30 p.m. CST, Dr. Mike Evans, founder of Friends of  Zion (FOZ), shared exclusives about the happenings in Israel during the scheduled gathering. Areas of discussion ranged from historical moments in relation to wars, presidencies, prophecies fulfilled, his touching childhood testimony, items of remembrance from the October 7th attack, interesting statistics of young adults who support Hamas vs. Israel due to social media/internet influence, and the plans of “Operation Brightstar.” Those who donate a specific amount of $1000 or above can have their name or the name of a loved one placed on a leaf of a special tree planted in Jerusalem. There was not one minute that passed without learning something new.

The stage was decorated with a menorah on the right and the flag of the USA and Israel to the left. In the center was a screen that projected the various topics that Evans discussed during the event. The captivated congregation listened intently to every word released as he discussed the importance of standing with Israel in efforts to show they are not alone.

The meeting concluded with an offering, as Dr. Evans said, “We don’t have to be fearful! We were born for these days!”

A psalmist led the congregation in worship to the song, “How Great is Our God,” and a prayer was released as everyone touched in agreement. Gift bags were provided on each seat which contained, a pen, a book written by Dr. Mike Evans titled Persia: October 7th, a necklace with Psalm 121:7 in reference to the October 7th attack, with the Hebrew translation on the other side, and a copy of a news article from the Jerusalem Post about billboards initiated by Dr. Mike Evans about “Israel not being alone.”

The meeting concluded with a special request from Friends of Zion to keep them in prayer.
