This is the day commemorating the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem! It is a time set apart to recognize Him as the King of Israel, the Victorious One, who came to save mankind. HOSANNAH means, “please save us!” Jesus came to do just that…salvation is in His very name.

“The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem.  They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna! ” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the King of Israel!” Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written: “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion;
    see, your king is coming,
    seated on a donkey’s colt.”

Jesus, also known as Yeshua, means to rescue, save, and deliver. He is the God of our Salvation. Jesus came in all humility as our King. He has brought us salvation! Rejoice! The Savior of the world has come to save us, deliver us, and give us victory!!!

This is a time of celebration as we remember that Jesus, the God of our Salvation, has saved us from the judgment of death and sin. If we accept Him, we are promised forgiveness from our sin, and life forevermore. To God be the Glory!
