If we are called for greatness, we have to be ready to serve and submit first and not get offended by correction. But instead, accept the correction. It’s for our own good. If we don’t accept a Godly rebuke, or if we allow ourselves to get offended by one, we handicap ourselves and our calling. 

The disciples received plenty of rebukes from Jesus, and most of them ACCEPTED the rebukes. Because of this, many of the disciples who accepted the rebuke with grace… turned out to be powerhouses with powerful ministries and moved by the power of the Holy Spirit. This came through their service, their obedience, and their submission to Jesus. 

The Lord disciplines those whom He loves….the disciplined ones are those who have been discipled. 

Lord, if You have called us to go ye therefore into the world and make disciples in the nations… help us first learn to accept being disciplined, which is the requirement of a true and effective disciple. We all know…that it’s not easy. But at the same time, we realize that it’s worth it. Help us all, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.🙏
